Do I need anything else to play?

Accepted Answer

A dartboard, somewhere to mount the cameras, and a network connection. If you buy the mini PC and a camera kit, everything else is in the box. You will also need a free Autodarts account — the software itself costs nothing.

Which camera kit should I pick?

Accepted Answer

If you do not already own a lighting ring, pick the Light Ring, Mounts & Cameras Bundle — it is the only one that includes a ring. If you already own a Mission Torus 270, a Winmau light ring, or a stand-mounted Target Corona, pick the mounts cut for it and keep your lighting.

Can I use my own computer instead of buying the mini PC?

Yes. Autodarts runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and Raspberry Pi, so if you already have a machine you can leave near the board, buy the camera kit on its own. The mini PC exists because “use your own computer” is the step most people get stuck on.

How does the mates rates discount work?

Put three or more items in one order — any mix of products — and 10% comes off the whole order automatically at checkout. There is no code to enter, and you will see the discount on the payment page before you pay.

Is there a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Not for normal play. Online matches, matchmaking, game modes and statistics are all free on Autodarts, and we charge nothing ongoing — you pay us once for the hardware. Tournaments are the exception: entering those needs Autodarts Plus at €6.99 a month, which also adds an AI referee, advanced statistics and custom darts. We do not get a penny of it either way.

Are you the official Autodarts shop?

No, and we say so everywhere: we are an independent retailer of compatible hardware. Autodarts is an open-source project with its own official hardware at autodarts.com. What we add is the pre-configured computer, mounts printed for the ring you already own, UK delivery and a free human setup call.

What does the free remote setup actually include?

A 30-minute video call at a time that suits you, where we go through mounting the cameras, calibrating the board and getting your first game running. After that you can email us and a person will reply.

How long does delivery take, and what does it cost?

UK mainland delivery is free and included in the price. Each unit is built and tested to order and ships in 3–5 working days, tracked — your confirmation email will tell you where your order is up to.

Can I return it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. As a UK consumer buying at distance you have 14 days from delivery to change your mind and cancel, and you do not need a reason. Email us and we will talk you through returning it. This is in addition to your normal rights if something arrives faulty.
